Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Close houses tend to mean no roosters. You can always check your county regulations as well. I know Pierce County here actually has a minimum lot size to have them, and then restrictions on how many per acre until you hit 5 acres.

I can't remember it all now. It's why we wouldn't look at any properties under 5 acres when we were buying.

I gave away that Polish roo for no reason! My neighbors told me there was a law against roosters. These neighbors also put up a fence on my property. It was 10 feet long, and about a foot on my property. They put it up without even asking where the property line was! Then I saw more fence posts and I asked them to wait til I got a survey before they put up any more fencing, since I didn't know they were taking the fence to the driveway and I didn't want to have a fence and lose a foot of my property down the 30 foot front yard. Now they are so angry, steam is coming out of the woman's ears. I don't know why they felt entitled to put up a fence without discussing the property line. The only reason I said they could leave the 10 foot fence is that he already cemented the fence posts in. She was also mad about my planting ornamental grass on my property, since she wanted to spray poison and kill everything there and now she can't. I just don't understand why she is so mad that she can't put poison on my property, and can't build a fence there. She doesn't even understand that if they put a 4x4 next to my fence post, it is on my property. They are going to have someone out to survey, thank goodness, because I don't want to give away my property to a couple of mean, nasty, people who's pit bull mix bit me when I was in my yard. Sorry, just a little rant. It just happened yesterday so it is still on my mind. I'm normally a nice person who doesn't get upset over things, but stealing 40 linear feet by 1 foot of my property is NOT ok with me. I should go put up fence posts 1 foot on their property, and say I'm building a fence.
