Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Hello, fellow Washingtonians! I'm re-starting my backyard chicken-keeping after 5 years (yay, fresh eggs!) and wanted to introduce myself. I live in the Methow Valley and decided to go with an assortment of chicks (2 RIRs, 2 Light Brahmas, 1 white leghorn, one silver-laced Wyandotte, and two unidentifiable chicks), along with two golden laced Wyandottes and 2 Buff Orpingtons I'm keeping for my parents who live a few miles away. I think 12 should do it, right? :D
The snow is melting here (finally!) and I'm gathering supplies for their new coop! We'll see how well salvaging supplies goes... Here's a photo of my future champion egg layers:

good morning Welcome

'these are the ones from the hatchery order ? cute as all get out
Well, the so-called special order got all screwed up. Not sure what happened. But I was at the store, the chicks were adorable, so I just said oh what the heck and got them anyway. Not the breeds I was necessarily looking for but that’s OK. There are two Easter Eggars, one Rhode Island red, one barred rock, and one gold sex link.

who is the pretty grey one ?

I'm back! Slipped on the back deck and ended up with a mild concussion in Feb. I've spent the last few weeks getting things ready for my hatchery surprise order. Over 60 chicks arrived this morning, all healthy and active. No Polish, sorry Penny. Lots of Old English Bantams, Marans, Cochin, Wyandottes, a Sebright trio, and a few Ameraucana.
Really glad I've got the grow out pens built and the second brooder cleaned out.
