Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I'm back! Slipped on the back deck and ended up with a mild concussion in Feb. I've spent the last few weeks getting things ready for my hatchery surprise order. Over 60 chicks arrived this morning, all healthy and active. No Polish, sorry Penny. Lots of Old English Bantams, Marans, Cochin, Wyandottes, a Sebright trio, and a few Ameraucana.
Really glad I've got the grow out pens built and the second brooder cleaned out.

WOW ! Hope you are ok !
2 yrs ago @Cowgirlgrace slipped on her porch and busted her knee BAD!!!
It is that same slippery green algae stuff we have on our porch steps...have to go scrub it off from time to time with bleach solution and a deck broom.
Hope you feel better !
I just got about 50 chicks and hatched 30 more, and now Toulouse eggs in the big incubator....that is going to be a learning experience for me !
Never hatched Goose eggs before !

I took heck of a fall back about a month ago on our path nothing to break bones
but darn it hurts just the same

My last fall involved a german shepherd not paying attention while playing. She ran full tilt into me from behind and took out my legs. So I'm laying there, catching my breath wondering what happened as I'm getting apology licks.

It's not the first time she's done it

We had a hell of scare here thinking Fear our gsd had seen her last days
started her condroiten and glucosamine 500 mg a day 1/2 50 mg tramadol has taken her
about two weeks helping her up and down the steps just three but when you hurt it is long steps ... Today she did the steps but all on her own again 17 still going strong
that our girl :love

Wow 17 that is awesome I’m happy for you guys. I had a golden retriever my first dog that made it to 16 it was like loosing a leg when I lost her. That was 4 dogs ago and every one tore me up when they were gone.

We rescued her almost 3 years ago poor girl I showed her grand Daddy she had never been off leash till she came here first time I took it off she looked at me me like I was crazy then ran laps about 6 times around to lay at my feet
