the silky are still mothering the 9 marans of course they are all bigger than the girls now
will weed out the boys Friday for auction

How many boys and girls you have? Old man Tom gave me 17 Marans hens the other day between 12 weeks and a year old. Pretty darn nice of him, he is a good guy.

Injured chick update. She has been up more. She is putting pressure on her toes. Still eating and drinking. However she has started sleeping with her leg out. Overall I think today is an improvement.

I have been letting her in with the others while I'm in the room. But I still can't leave her. They pile on top of her when she lays down to rest...XD my son named one baby and it is a huge jerk! XD

then you will need to watch her a bit till she is settled back in won't take long
