Tonight's total is 3 dead rats. All me catching them. The dogs did chase them out from under the coops, and the cats joined us tonight by patrolling the roofs so the rats were stuck just under the roof at the top of the fence.

Our babies finally all have names! It has only taken a week hahaha. we went with Luna, Baby, Elly, and Babs Luna was the chick with the injured leg. She is golden now

I was taught early to not name what we might eat but couldn't resist with the silky Mud, Grime, Dirt, Muck

Mostly just breeding roosters get names as well as a few of the now older hens. I'm a nerd. So the partridge were are all named after saiyans from DBZ.

The whites all have volcanic names. Only 5 of them.

The black silkie pest in the the large fowl is named Snape. He's weird and can be a little jerk. Especially if you ignore him and don't give him attention.

My girls 3 will meet me 4 does not she Muck but she also roosts on a table knee high right now one of the marans cockerel is roosting with her the others are in the corner with Dirt hiding their heads when I go in

Snape does a little foot dance in front of me. He will repeat. If I keep ignoring him, he will bite
