The half breeds have started laying. The green egg is actually slightly smaller than the silkie egg.

Silkie size pullets so silkie size eggs.

Two of my girls have gone back broody so only two marans pullets now stuck 5 eggs under all green or blue should hatch 2nd or 3rd

Was certain I have a cockerel need to relook in my three marans still alive no fault to anyone but lost like 4 anyway 2 are pure black 1 is coloured as your is

I was pretty sure two of my chicks were black sex link but now I'm not so sure. One has developed long feathers on its shoulders and coming off the front of its chest while the other one looks normal. The one with the funky feathers also has more comb and wattle growth then any of the others. And has become an asshole XD here are some pics

Even pullets can turn that till they lay then go back to hey hard to say How old are they ?

A little over 2 months. Still really not sure what the two black chicks were XD I thought after they started getting feathers that they were black sex link which would make them both females. One looks like a black sex link but the one I am starting to think isnt a hen does not look like a sex link XD

so please are these from your eggs or ones you bought are you certain of parentage ?

Nah I bought them as day olds. Listed as Asian blacks. But two are for sure barred rock.
