Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

are they the same size as the others you have?
Yup. They have been free ranging together for about a week now. At first they avoided each other. Then slowly they got closer. I was worried about the new hens because mine are so docile. But mine actually chase the new ones that was a jerk to the littlest away. Then in the last few days they have been more tolerable of each other. Coming to get food without incident, walking around as a semi flock. No more chasing or vocalizing. So I think it's time. I'm just scared to do it XD

They will be fine then if your coop is big enough

They should be just fine. I wouldn't worry too much. Yes letting them out to range in the morning would give them somewhere to run if they needed to. Wouldn't have to do that for more than a few days

May have three cockerels from the halloween hatch one is such a pretty blue one barred really dark one black but all quite red in the comb already

I think I have around 6 cockerels out of the 18 I hatched on 11/5 there might be 1 or 2 more I can’t tell for sure. They are mostly a pretty friendly bunch. I know I shouldn’t do this but I started calling one of them Pauly and it comes to me by name every time never had that happen before. I’m pretty sure it’s a Legbar cuckoo marans cross it’s black with white barring does that sound right for that cross.

I like the ones from the breeder but my first where hatchery got really mean to other birds later like about 4 or so
