Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Whenever I update my flock, I get a rainbow handful of chix with about 12-15 Cornishx. My favorite overall has got to be the "Aracanas" They like to stay at home (unlike my anconas), are good foragers, and are calm (unlike my leghorns). I love seeing the multicolored nest, and I can tell who laid which egg. Those EE's have had everything from bright blue to green/turquoise to olive to pink! What I get is dependent on what Country Store has in stock when my baby coop is ready. Last spring I picked up 10 lt brahman for $1.50 ea for 10 day old chix. I was going to resell them but......never got around to it. Surprisingly, they lay brown eggs in a multitude of hues. All my birds are cold hardy because they refuse to come indoors at night and prefer to sleep 20' up in my apple tree! rain, snow, what have you. Each flock has had a different favorite for me--this time around, it's Robbe (RedRobyn), a sex-link. She's that one that talks to me and follows me around the yard, "helps" with the gardening--she's taught me some chicken and I've taught her some human, so we get along great!

My birds all roost in the coops two tables built from pallets they have a great time

Hope everyone's Christmas was good!

Sooo....we had a containment breach thanks to our toddler. So the girls have been free ranging together for a week. They were at least separated for a little over 2 weeks. But now I need more help. They dont seem to want to be buddy buddy with each other but they are not being overly aggressive. So how and when should I put them in the coop with my original girls? I am ready to once again have no chickens living inside XD. Also so far everyone is sickness free. :) been keeping a very close eye on everyone.
