We didn’t have potato salad but had creamed new potatoes and garden peas fresh out of the garden. Anyone have a good way to blanch and freeze cauliflower? We did 1 min and 15 sec blanch and froze in bags did it last year but blanched longer and it was gross and mushy.

When you choose to freeze I do Raw always use before 6 months but stays good

Bummer for me again the coyotes knocked the slide lock loose on the bottom of the run door Sunday I’m assuming about daylight because they got about 18 of my Marans girls plus my original rooster, there were Marans hens scattered all over found 3 dead and 13 live some were beat up the rest were gone except for feathers. I’m sure it was at daylight because of the ones that escaped. I still have three more Roos and a couple more hens in the barn plus two hens with chicks so I can rebuild. I have the run door fixed so it doesn't happen again stinking coyotes anyway.

Yup coyotes are here every night they leave there calling card turds, just waiting for a mistake or a worn out spot they can break in. I really hate them now but not much I can do other than secure things better, can’t use traps in fear of catching dogs or cats or something.

Been off all day just got home Richards extended family was here from NC so was up at his sisters for the day

There is more to do around here than I can keep up with taking care of the chickens, the garden is producing every day im loaded with veggies, a lot of mowing grass and spraying weeds. By the way all the kittens are lap kitties now even Mr mean Dexter he is still the the one that stays back away but I can grab him and do what ever with him.

I am so happy your kitties have become fun and yes even Feral can be lap cats
our best indoors the Shasta trailer was Bob and still is Moe was our standoffish he is now throws himself at my feet on his side can be tough walking but he wants pets
