Do blue Marans lay as dark of an egg as the BCM?

OH yes sure do at least allot darker than any of others have to look at the lower eggs to really see them I only get like 3 a day from 1 blue marans pullet but have 2 cuckoo marans pullets

Amazing, the rain's actually let up. My front yard is still flooded with a current but the chickens finally have some run access after 48 hrs locked up!

Most of the water around our house foundation has now receded or drained. Septic is still acting up but I have someone coming on Tuesday to take a look, so even though we're still waterlogged, we're at least in better shape.

Good news about the water draining!!! Sorry about the septic.

I went out to clean coops, but it started raining. We are having another break in it now, so I'm heading back out in a minute.

The good news is, we are supposed to have 5 relatively dry days starting tomorrow!

Hello fellow Washingtonians! I was wondering if anyone here is willing to take in a blue Orpington cockerel. The only problem I’ve had with him is that he was a little too aggressive/interested with my 2 year old, but he is good towards older kids and adults. Please let me know if you are interested, I’m happy to give him away for free and am looking to find him a new home as soon as possible. Thank you!

I haven’t yet, I’m going to try to find him a home from somebody on BYC first before I go there but I will eventually if nobody on here wants him.

I wish I could @Jraba1315 ! But, I'm in the process of trying to raise two orpington cockerels at the moment. I think one more would push my 10 girls over the edge. Hope you can find someone!!! He is beautiful.
