Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Sounds great. I'm happy to bring her to you if that makes it easier.
Let me know if you are still interested, I'd love to find her a good home in WA. This photo is of her perched up about 12' above my run, her preferred way to escape.

Hi, fellow Washingtonians! I'm brand new to the forum - here to learn about chickens. My family moved to our 'forever home' last year, in Snohomish, and I FINALLY have space for chickens!

My family: me, my husband, 13 year old boy girl twins, 2 cats, 2 corgis, and eventually: 4 chickens.
Welcome! Glad to have you! How is the weather over in Snohomish?
I love corgis!

One of the barred rock pullets is laying! You can’t tell in this picture, but the top egg is a pullet egg!

update on the egg apron: I think I would reverse the box pleats if I did it again. Reversed, the box pleat would create more of a rounded bottom on the pocket. It works fine though!
:celebrateCongrats to the lucky pullet!

Glad to be here! The weather right now isn't too bad - we had some bad rain overnight, but we are in for a stretch of dry weather, which is nice.
Corgis are great dogs! It will be interesting training them to herd the chickens - but they do well with our cats, so I am optimistic. :)

Glad to hear that!
We have clear skies where we are, but I won't say where, for privacy!

Where did you get your corgis? In the future I plan to adopt one, and if you have any insight that would be great! Are they rescue or breeder, if that isn't too personal?
