Well, I feel better about the soggy state of the chicken run after reading these posts.
so gross.
We let the chickens into the apple orchard to free range each day since Saturday. They’re happy chickens, although today they were WET happy chickens.

Pouring and windy...
The front of our henhouse is dug out because we hoped it would help the flooding, but it is one big puddle, pretty much up past my ankles.

Ouch. Yeah it was raining so much that my flock gave up and went to roost at 3 PM. The run has been very puddle-y all day. Appears to be snowing now instead but it shouldn't stick for long.

I wish! She’s a giant dainty thing. She does the whole “Ew, my paws can’t get wet?!” then darts for the porch.

Weenie on the other hand has a blast looking for squirs (squirrels) and bottoms out because he’s so short.
