Finally went out myself now that 50% of my helpers have left town and my husband is off to the store to restock the refrigerater. The run is "actually" 19' long (not the 20+' I was told) and one long side slopes from 11' wide next to the building to just under 9' (like 8' 9") at the far end...my "good math", I had help from my 8 year old who gets to count all of our building as school hours, says that's roughly 190 sqft of run space, I'm happy with that. "Coop" is 7'x10' (no matter how hard my family wants to claim it as 8' wide, I have measured and remeasured many times...it's 7' wide) by 10' long, so 70 sqft inside. Just barely over the "minimum space requirements, but not bad for only using FREE building materials! We are having to wait 3 weeks for more roofing (stepfather has to go home and remove some unused outbuildings from their property).

Feeling like crud today, my diabetic "complications" have kept my energy low and my blood sugars high all day. But, we got outside enough to decide we may actually need to go buy some lumber to get the run done.

Better news is that the $30 "anti bark" device I bought to shut up my neighbor's dogs works! One of the big ones walked up to where it was sitting and barked, turned around and hightailed it back in their house...all three of their dogs left us alone for the first time since they got this set of dogs (5-6 years ago)...the newest addition was a small dog that never shuts up, he was the reason I bought the device finally! Peace and relative quiet while the 4 of us were all in the back yard working and throwing sticks for my big cuddle bug who is now stretching a large portion of his 80 lbs body across my lap while he snores loudly.

Oh my lord Diabetic I understand my better half is but 74
and pretty stable we had some some low sugars that scared the hell out of me told him cannot do that again

I use a continuous glucose monitor (cgm) and an insulin pump, so the Diabetes is "managed", but after 30 years with it, I have a few other autoimmune issues that have cropped up in the last 8 months or so making it so much harder to keep stable!

Sorry to hear that he is close to 50 years diabetic
stopped the metaformin like 6 months ago now think it was causing some issues
