Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

My first chick to have 6 toes on both feet. I've had it crop up on one foot multiple times. That's how Leven got his name.

See to me Fuzzy looked more like cochin mix silkie
I still have three silkie growing up tell me if there is way to say cockerel or pullet before they crow or lay ?

I can usually tell when holding and looking at them. I've never been wrong on a girl, but boys I can be. Some boys are obvious by size and comb and wattle color. That's how I know the paint is a boy at 8 weeks. The three blue creams are 1 boy, 1 girl, 1 maybe boy.

Partridge boys can be easier. They have orange necks instead of the tan girls have. Some arent as obvious on color and I make my best guess.

Hello everyone,
Just moved here from Maui are there any poultry clubs in state. Are there any shows that normally happen here?

Welcome!

There are shows. I think the October one will happen this year. It's put on by Washington Feather Fanciers October 23-24. It will be at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds in Chehalis.

Stevenson Poultry Classic is scheduled for November 6-7. It will be at Skamania County Fairgrounds in Stevenson.

Shows were canceled last year and this spring so these will be the first we've had in a while.
