Did anyone make it down to the Washington State Fair in Puyallup? I'm heading down there Sun. Looking forward to the Poultry Exposition! I've never been to this fair or a chicken show!

The SW WA State Fair did not have a chicken nor a rabbit exposition due to bird flu and something going on in the rabbit world. Hope you are in luck and they bring that all back to the Puyallup fair.

Think as much as some want to think it gone it is not ..
May go the one in chehalis soon think we will wear masks. I do want scones.

Hey I had always bought oyster lay a bucket on it's side. Decided all the eggs we eat bake them crumble .. Used containers we bought cashews in at Coscto.
Cut part of the front out, screwed to 1 inch then 2 x 4 make them less tippy.
Taken out this morning birds are checking out the new thing. som look other stop to have a few bites.

Make sure you wear clothes and shoes that can be sanitized. Pierce county had another bird flu case last week. Im just barely out of the quarantine zone for this one.

That is great idea bleach on the shoes is what I do in spray bottle.

I don't wear my out in town shoes near the coops. The stupid ducks are back for fall now. We've frosted twice and the lilies are dying back. No free ranging here. Hermes will happily collect anyone who tries to escape.

I am right there also boots, shoes.
Do not leave the house. Not since bird flu and Mareks turned up here can never be to safe.
