Check the butt. Often it's poopy from the runny stools from coccidiosis.

I got good at tubing birds when we had the botulism issue. Condensation or actual water got into the scratch and I hadn't noticed any mold until they started showing symptoms. Lost a few to it and had a couple hens who couldn't eat for days from jaw paralysis. Also when I found out to use the baby bird food because it's meant to mix with water and is fine enough to tube.

Do you have to toss the eggs when you use corid? I can’t remember.

Oh I was quoting actual FDA. It's an approved drug for chickens and has been studied

Our dusting of white is gone 42 out, Sun is bright in the sky.
Was going to do my blood work today white falling did not.
Put it off antibiotics done now, need to get that done.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a few messy butts and am thinking about Corid myself just to be sure. Lost a hen recently. She wasn't young, so don't know what took her. I don't do necropsies here. Would if I lost more than one I suppose.

It felt really cold here this morning, but it was only 18 degrees. Sunny day.

Of my egg hatch, I got 13, I am keeping these 7, my neighbor got the rest.

I am locking down these on Fri.

Went had the blood letting this morning.. Always great when done at Morton Hospital.
Went to breakfast at Papa Bears with a big mug of coffee first.
Bought a new feed at Timberland Feed in Morton 20% only picked up 3.
Go back to 16 Smudge is getting older still the best rooster I have had.
Lower percent is for him.

It was nice today. The old lady here thinks she needs all the treats. She turned 12 a few weeks ago.

Sure nice here almost 50 now,
Birds tend to sun down by the fence that keeps the dogs at bay.
We put that up like 9 years ago still standing all solid..
