I know it's the way of things, and I have a lot of respect for people who can process their birds, and other livestock. I'm not sure if I'll ever get there.

There are bird Auctions I cannot recall all of them Enumclaw was one we have one down here called Chehalis auctions. I think there may be one up there where you are at ?

Hello everyone! I'm pretty new here on the forums, and also new to chicken keeping. I live in Snohomish county.

I realize this is a bit of a long shot, but is there perhaps anyone in the area that would like a four month old blue laced red wyandotte cockerel? We have neighbors, and he has recently found his voice, and trying to keep him quiet is driving us up one wall, and down the other.

Check around to see if there are any wildlife rehab places nearby. We have one here that I’ve heard is happy to take extra cockerels.

Cool morning actually took a hot shower.

Ran up to Chehalis Walmart then came back and mowed the yard. No deer damage to my garden last night, for a change. I'm getting better at making my deer barriers.

I have one zucchini squash that is looking good. Just bloomed, and if it was pollinated I should be eating my first squash in a week or so.

I have two yellow squash 1 cantaloupe. My zucchini should deliver mid august.

Only flowers on my zucchini so far. Had to buy a couple today at Freddy's.

I could not get zucchini anwhere this spring so planted a few seeds.'
Kept like 3, 1 eaten first day out.
