just know-- cabbage in large amounts produces lots of mush / runny poopI tried chopping up cabbage into bite size pieces for the chickens, and they seem to like it that way. I chopped up a bunch of lettuce, a couple tomatoes, a gourd and an apple too. Chopping seems to be the way to go, at least for the chickens.
It's a little over 50 degrees here, and warm enough to fool a tree frog into thinking it's spring. I heard one croaking out there!

I'm sure we'll get some payback for this warmer-than-normal weather in January and February.I just hope it’s not going to do something weird like an Arctic blast in retaliation. I know the trees need their chilling and all but it’s not hurting my feelings having the warmest December on record!
Wish my sprouts were growing. They just sort of stopped when it got colder. Oh well, the leaves are good chicken food.Good morning My brussle sprouts are still growing.
The cabbage is still growing also.
