Good afternoon all slow start to my day. Have not had heard good weather report
yet today.

Looks like we may finally get some snow in a week or so. It'll be interesting to see what kind of reaction my chickens have when I let them out into the cold white stuff. LOL



I drove down to the local store two times today to check for produce scraps and trimmings. No luck, darn it. I fed my chickens the last of the free feed yesterday.

The main reason I drove to the store the first time was to warm up the oil in my truck so I could change it. After I got the oil and filter changed I drove to the store again to circulate the new oil through the engine.

I only spilled only a few drops of oil, which is good. But I dropped the wrench on my head when I was changing the oil filter and it landed right between my eyes. It broke skin and bled some, and that wasn't good! LOL. Oh well, I'll live.

I have been caught in Feb. with the snow and couldn't get out for 3 weeks,,? I think 2018 or so. BUT I have stocked extra dog and chicken feed just incase.

Went to the feed store Bought 4 60 lb bags then.
We are at 1000 feet so won't see snow here.
