Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

We'd lost power Monday night. Was the line across the road so only a few of us for this one. Was back up a bit over 12 hours later.

Some old zip ties snapped on the silkie pen roof yesterday as well with the wind. Tarp had pulled out from the one before it. So spent around an hour and a half in the rain fight the wind to get it back up. All good now. Silkies were fine. I have 2 layers of tarp on there so they had backup and stayed dry.

Had mixed precipitation last night. Just icky and makes roads a little slick.

Hey all power was out this morning was told most of Lewis County last power.
Have it back now.
Sorry about your barn and coop roof. I think 4 or 5 inches fell here, too. I was wondering if you lost power when I didn't see you around here this morning. It's still 34 degrees here, and I think the slush falling from the sky is finally turning into rain.

We have about 5 inches of snow fell in the night.
We have a old oak tree in that yard took out what we call the barn.
Huge half of it came down of the old roof of the coop.
So did your new coop survive this tree falling? That sounds like a real mess! Sorry about the snow too, it was pretty nice today and I got out with the chickens and did some weeding.
