I just have Leven and dont need another with the big girls. I was going to replace him when he was young, but he's proven himself over and over

Cleaned the coops then sent the Son to weed the new part of the garden.
All is growing quite well I am real pleased with how that is growing.

Sorry I didn’t hop back on here until I needed something lol. I had 8 out of 11 hatch. I can now tell I have 3 Roos and 5 pullets so if anyone needs a BCM roo in Lewis county lmk! If I remember to look

Me and roosters don't get along. Had a pair of them once and their crowing woke me up too early in the morning.

Pulled a bucket of weeds from around the house and gave them to the girls to pick on. Picked more red leaf lettuce today, got started running lines for my drip irrigation yesterday.

Chickens got fresh produce again this morning. Met my "competition" at the grocery store when I picked up the produce scraps. Said he has chickens, goats and pigs to feed. I took one box, he took the other five.

I have 12 chickens! 8 Hens, 4 pullets. No garden this year. My husband is training to go up the more technical side of Mt. Rainier to qualify for Denali, so no time this year.

Update on Broody hen!!! The time out pen worked!!! She was in there for 4 days let her out and she is back to normal. Thanks Everyone for all the advice.
