Ah, that's bad news. I'm so sorry. Hope they all work it out in the Silkie pen.Weasel is back again. Attacked in the daylight this time. Chased them into coop and killed them there. Got 1 hen and the 3 roosters I was going to process.
Remaining girls were terrified to enter coop. I moved them over to the silkie pens as those are more secure. Silkies have been yelling mad today about the interlopers but no fighting. The roosters have been trying to appease the angry hens. The 2 part silkie hens integrated pretty well already. The oldest EE picked a calm pen and flew over the divider to join it. The other two EEs have been skittish of the silkies, which is hilarious because they are over 4 times heavier than them and can fly

I did buy a head of cabbage today. I never had luck growing it. Should've bought some jalapenos too since I still have some salsa worthy tomatoes. I stocked up on meat, cheese and some nuts. And coffee. Gotta have my coffee. We love Fred Meyer's. Great veggies and that's most of our shopping list. I would think your shopping would be quite different with all your home grown veggies.
