You go to military doctors? DH is retired military, 30 years service. But no military bases close to us.

We chose this area in part because of the base when hubby retired. Tricare is worth it on cost. Got assigned to Mcchord clinic. Hubby gets their head doctor because of his kidney issues and having to take that into account. Madigan for specialty care like his endocrinologist or my hand

That's really great for you! Tricare for life works well out here in the civilian world too. No copays. But, try to find a doctor! They don't stick around in these country areas, and if they do, they are overloaded.

Thats why we couldn't stay in Eastern Oregon where most of my family are.
