Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Warning to my SW Washington friends. We stopped at Sumo Sushi restaurant in Kelso yesterday for lunch. It's located in the old Shari's building.

Well, you have to use a QR code that is imbedded in the table to place your order online on your phone. Never have mastered those QR codes. lol Luckily DH has so he ordered for us. It is an all you can eat place with basically two menu choices. Once you make a choice of menu "plan", you can order as much as you like off that menu. Also, there is an hors d'oeuvre and desserts buffet to go with your lunch.

And the most unusual thing for our little area is having your food come to your table by robot. And it has a personality and you can talk to it. I was staring at it when it was coming to another table and it winked at me!!!

I suppose this would be the place to go if you were hungry. Unfortunately, we just stopped for a light lunch of perhaps a sushi roll. I'm sure we didn't get our money's worth.

Oh, and speaking of money, we chose the less expensive of the two meal plans since we weren't looking for a feast, and for the two of us it was only about $35, including gratuity. We pay more than that when we go to Denny's, Hash or 49ers for breakfast or lunch.

So, really, isn't this a bit much for our rural population?

I'll never be going to Sumo Sushi. I'd want paper menus and human servers. LOL

I put the eggs on lockdown this morning. 21st day begins Thursday evening. I removed the egg-turner wheel and filled the second water reservoir to increase the humidity. I haven't seen any eggs rolling around by themselves yet.

That makes it harder to forgo giving a tip I assume. I wouldn't feel right tipping a robot. Unless it was of the cow-tipping variety. LOL
Well, you don't have to add a tip at all. They add it to the bill to begin with.
