I love caring for our patients, until they expect us to work miracle and are PO'd when we tell them it isn't possible.

Heavier posts are going to have to be a must. You can see what it did to that thick wood! It faced east/west so I don't know if opening them would help or not (???).

Good morning everyone!
Headed to work for another fun filled day of craziness! This last week before break is always crazy, but this year seems worse too me. I have been exhausted after work the last couple of nights!
Why do people wait til the last minute to call a dental office for a problem and expect us to solve it when there is NO time to fix it? AND the problem didn't just happen last night or yesterday, it happened 3 weeks ago or more! And they are just calling now and want it fixed like yesterday. Or they look at us and are like "what do you mean I have to wait until after the new year?"
I don't mean we don't take care of the people in pain. We make the time to at least make them comfortable, but there are others that have had an issue for weeks or months, for heaven sake, we are not magicians and we have to work with labs that have hours and restrictions around the holidays too!

I COMPLETELY understand your frustration!!!! Working at the vet clinic, we would run into the same thing. "Fluffy has been limping for 3wks" ..."we are completely full with appointments and have 2 emergencies today. I can get you in tomorrow at...", Then they blow up and get angy. ?????

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!! I've been researching goats and am supe anxious to make use of our land and I have always loved their personalities. That just made me so excited at the prospect!!! I do understand that they can be mischievious and fencing is uber important. We have some cleanup and shelter building to do before we get them. Any of you who have had them have any breed preferences? I'm still trying to decide if I want to stick to dairy or meat or have both.

Just had some guys come and get my 4 extra roosters!!!!!!!!!!!! Then they asked about an old motorhome that has been sitting for years and are gonna come back and talk with hubby about it. I told them $500 and they seemed fine with that, but then proceeded to offer us a COW OR PONY!!! Have a feeling they are gonna try to barter for it, haha!

More needlepoint. I'm liking the 5 gauge rug canvas. It's much easier on the hands and eyes. It's perfect for folk art style things.

I'm using a seven gauge canvas now for a Christmas stocking. It should give me smoother curves and finer details.

Boy, we got hammered here in Poulsbo with the snow. Lost one of our trees on the neighbors roof. OOPS! lucky it didn't make any damage. Just the tip hit. Power went out because of our tree down. All fixed now but a busy day.

Why? Insurance would be my guess.

I wish it was that. But this is orthodontics and insurance is already delt with and billed. So that is not it.
