Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Okay, I have a favor to ask...I would like to surprise my BIL and his wife with pictures of their new baby girl for her first Easter. Does anyone have a couple fuzzy chicks that I could borrow for a few hours to pose with her? I would make sure they were safe and cared for. I just don't have any chicks now, and don't want to buy some just for the photos.

Thanks to anyone who might be able to help!

I'd love to purchase a six pack of eggs from you! But won't be able to get that far south until this weekend.

So if anyone is headed north from CRs place - please think of me!

I do give lessons on how to increase flock size/egg production OVERNIGHT literally overnight!!!
For lesson 1. Under my avatar click on "MY COOP". scroll down and read the story of Chicken Rustler. Once it is clear you have done lesson one we can move to lesson 2. A shopping trip to the midnight chicken supply at the corner of grab em n run !!!
I don't know about rustlin chickens, but what do you charge to move free CL sheds? My trailer is too small to move most that I have been offered....... and BTW- love those 'scrap" brooder holes!

I would love to go to that talk on the 21st, and bring my in-cool-bator genius of a hubby along.

. It's only 30 minutes from our place- and easy access from hwy 18.
Our in-cool-bator is almost perfectly dialed in, thanks to RobJ who suggested a dimmer switch on the 25 watt bulb.

Hi all! I'm new to this website, but found my way here! With the help of other people.

I am looking into getting into the chicken adventure and all I have been able to find is feed stores charging an arm and a leg because they don't have competition out here... Jerks! I have been looking on Craigslist but it must still be too early because people there are also charging (what seems like to me) a lot for chicks and 3x as much for pullets. Maybe I'm just a cheap person.

I live near Puyallup and Del's and Graham Hay Market don't have chicks yet, so they can't tell me how much the chicks are going to be. Makes sense.

I know once I can find a less loud rooster the price won't matter, because hopefully I'll get some broody girls who make us babies and we can go from there. I don't know that we're supposed to have roosters where I live, so I need to find a roo that will somewhat cooperate. HA! I know how silly that sounds, but maybe we'll get lucky like we did with our dogs? Does anybody's roo crow when sirens go by? That's the only time the one dog howls, so I figure if the roo crows when the sirens go by we'll be ok.

for chickens and chicks, since you live in Puyallup, you might want to look up Bradley Farms in Puyallup. They are on Facebook.
