No problem. Saterday, the commemt I got was not directly not likeing the fact that I was carrying. A man was speaking to some ladies behind me, about spending $800 on a guinea pig of his Dd's that was ill and it died anyways. I simply turned with a smile and said he was a better paremt than I. A woman he was talking to, whipped around and snapped at me saying, ”Yeah, you would just shhot the helpless thing.” Just a load of snoty attitude, and she reached twards and tried touching my gun, but my hand had made it thete before her out of reaction.

Kids wanted me to show ya'll my carry piece! So my DD #2 took my pick.

I am working on my DW to get a gun and CWP. She has opened up about guns in our house now that the boys are growed up and we have the .22 for critter control. After the events of the last week, it may convince her we need to carry. And in my mental picture of you FM is no where near what you look like. Funny how you build a mental picture of someone and then you see them for real and think, that is not what I pictured.

Well, totally LOLing about the guinea pig; we like our animals (cat, chickens) but we don't do vets. If the cat were to get so sick that it needed to be seen by a doc, off the cat would go to kitty heaven. Same with chickens. We just don't spend our money on our animals like others I know, and it certainly isn't out of lack of love for the animal. Just a different philosophy of life; animals are wonderful to have around and of course we love them, feed them, care for them as best we can, but don't spend $ on them.

About her trying to touch the gun: I would have been livid! I may have even just said "Yup, I probably would have shot it!" in all good humor of course.

That posted before I was ready.
I gave her a few things to think about along with how stupid it is to ever reach for someones weapon.
Other times I have been told that women like me that think they should carry are whats wrong with this world, and that was coming from a woman.
I have had people grab their kids while staring at my gun and go the other way.
Had 5 male employees of FredMeyer follow me around the store, watching my every move. Glad I didn't need to try ant thing on.
Been told that I was dangerouse and irresponsible for owning let alone carrying a gun with my children by my side.
I always have a few choice words for these people. It is one thing to have your own opinion about it and even bringing it to my attention is fine as long as you are respectful about it. But no one ever is nice about it!

TPTrav- Glad I am not the only one who does that. When I went to my first meet up with some of the great people on here, I realized that no one matched the way I had them pictured! But I get that a lot my self, mostly from meeting my kiddos teachers for the first time.

I figured that common sense would be not to reach for, grab or touch someones gun. But people these days seem to have grown out of useing common sense.

We lost one of the broody's chicks today. Momma has blood on her comb and beak, so she tried to fend off whatever it was(assuming a hawk, we have lots). Such as life in the country. My DW asked if we could cover the whole backyard(18,000+sf) and I told her sure if she comes up with about $1000 for the netting and PVC.
