Another thing most people don't seem to know is that the body can get "used to" depression meds after a couple of years. That may be why your doctor changed you in the first place, and why going back to the old one after a couple of years has helped.

HallerLake... Rob has said it wasn't for depression.

CR, I totally understand and can empathize with dealing with medical side effects. I have been on blood pressure meds for 12 years. When I got up to around 250lbs I had to go on a second med for it. It had bad side effects(poor blood flow to a SPECIFIC area) So I had to make a decision to stay on the extra med with side effects, that are detrimental to a marriage, or loose weight. It took me a year to get down to 215 and maintain it(been around 205-215 for 4 years now) through diet( exercise is difficult with my poor knees and can't swim in a pool due to chlorine allergy). I am only on 1 blood pressure med now with no side effects and it is well controlled. I could probably get off that if I get down to 190lbs(still working on that goal). Gonna be interesting see the "old"(new to most of us) you.

Really hoping the weather cooperates Saturday so I can get the carport frame and, tarp on it, erected for the Silkies covered enclosure. Then get their pallet coop built. I am pretty sure that our Black Silkie is a rooster and hope he doesn't start crowing until I can move them out to the coop(at least 3 more weeks until they are feathered out anyways). My DW is gonna name him "Kung Pow" and pretty sure that all the rest will be named after Chinese chicken foods(since Silkies originated in China, and I have not yet told her that part, hahaha)

That's FABULOUS! Did you make it from scratch? I've always been too afraid it would be a disaster to even try. And I love the extra side and the story that goes with it! Too Funny! You're a very creative person! The snowman chopping wood is amazing! Thank you for sharing!!
Yes, I did make it from scratch. The design was from The Joy of Cooking. The chicken coop and rubbish pile was my own design. What else was I to do with all the scraps? Eat them? Blech! With frosting they will be edible when I am desperate.

I just wanted to share because I cracked myself with the extras. DH had the idea to throw on the extra candy. We know about piles of leftover junk. We *finally* cleaned up a far less tasty pile of trash on the side of our new house.

Okay, I'm a bunch of posts behind, but wanted to share this, especially after CaroylnF posted her pics (which made me drool).

This is my sourdough holiday wreath - or at least, my first one, just out of the oven. This was a test, so after we taste it, I will know better what to change.I think some seeds on top would be nice. Hopefully, I will have one good enough for our gift on Christmas eve to our dinner hosts. Also adding some truffle oil and some homemade duck and rabbit pate.

That looks really cool

OK I am going to talk very serious about something. I hope that EVERYBODY will PLEASE read this even if you don't like my posts.
I am sharing this information in hopes that it may help someone. It is not intended for any other purpose.
Rob, that is good advice. I would like to add though, something equally important. I recently went to pick up some scripts and did not even look at them, other than my name. It wasn't until I got home, and for no reason I can think of, I looked at the dose. I'm glad I did, the pharmacy got it totally wrong! I called them and they fixed it, but had no explanation as to how it got so screwed up. They could have got the completely wrong med. Since I take low dose chemotherapy meds, this could have been a disaster.

So please, everyone, check not only the name on your script, but the doasge and the right medication!
