wow, never thought of that; thanks for the tip; yes, he will definitely get moving with the coop when the smell increases. I am thinking
about 5 weeks indoors and they should be feathered out and ready to go outside.
Hooray!

why is that funny? They don't mind ya bringing in a chicken as long as it's leashed.

The funniest one was (I think) RareFeathersFarm said she took a Polish Cockerel to Home depot as she was tired of all those Boring Dogs !
And the cockerel crowed the whole time, his head poked out of a big purse...and people were so interested !
That, is a chicken ?????????????????

I wish I could remember who it was that did that...maybe not Heather.anyone remember ?????????????

You can (as I do) use the same stuff in HALF dosage for your layers.
Makes my guys shoot some lethal bullets, if ya know what I mean.

In by-gone days, most breeders would lace their layer's feed with cod liver oil, to boost the fertility, feather growth & gloss, and so on.
Nowadays most of us use a supplement since oils can rancid~~~~~~~~
Hens are more vibrant, healthy, etc.
So are chicks.
Same as you & I taking a vitamin.
In the case of broilers, I use the stuff full strength as perscribed
