Oh! I love the little hat! She looks like Aurora Borealis!

This is one of my "mutt" chicks. I hatched out 3 of my own eggs- the roo is an EE and 2 eggs were from an americauna/ee, the other from a Silver-laced Wyandotte. Beats me what I have here? That hat is an ornament my renter made, that I missed putting away with all the other tree ornaments. Well, now I know it was no coincidence!

The others are WAY better photographers- all I have right now is my iphone!

OK So I am WAAAAAY behind. So I haven't seen anything about a potluck at Monroe. ARE WE or not??? Since I am so far behind and not able to get on much right now could somebody PLEASE PM me about any plans!!!

Man. There has been no mention of potluck at Monroe because our regular pot luck planners are MIA and I don't know if I can even go or not! JB is missing, Chickielady's been busy, you haven't been around much. I suppose we could see if we want to throw something together but until I know if I'm busy with theater work I can't commit to going at all.

Anyone want to take charge of organizing the potluck for the Monroe show? It makes it nice when we all meet up. We're easier to recognize then too because we're the cool kids with all the food.

When I saw the mention of turkeys it reminded me of when I went outside early in the morning & the chickens were all hanging out with a wild turkey! I was afraid they would follow him into the woods!

Thanks again for the car lien advice folks! We went to my bank & did a wire transfer & had a release of title faxed to the lien holder (per lien holder's instructions) then we went to the DOL & did a bill of sale/title transfer ..we should be all good! The bank will be mailing the title directly to us soon! And the new (to us) Outback is sitting in the driveway now! It's purdy.

CL is great half the time, the other half, you realize you live in a world of crazies....got a great juicer for $20 last time, though!

I got my champion juicer for $75 on CL,
my leather furniture from CL,
our new chicken coop on CL,
2-3 cords of wood for next year's firewood on CL,
my trailer I use to haul everything on CL,
my tent camper on CL,
my son's IKEA bunkbed on CL,
my antique lamp that matches my other antique lamp on CL,
a big area rug on CL,
.....and much, much more..... Even with the flakes, I still like CL a LOT. I hate, hate, hate buying retail!

I will organize food for the potluck! I need a PM from each person coming who wants to bring something, and let me know what you will bring. I will fill in the gaps myself or request those who don't know what to bring that they bring something specific to fill in gaps.

I'll bring my "famous" kale salad with garlic-tahini dressing. (and something else that I can think of with our diet restrictions that others would like...thinking, thinking, thinking....)
