Let me start off by saying this momma has already dipped into the "mommies happy juice" tonight so I hope I make sense in my rambling to come.

I was planning on surprising everyone with a really big over the top cake, but I made an uh oh and was not able to make DH a cake for his birthday on the 2nd of March, so I think that would just be mean of me to make one for my byc peeps and not have made one for him. But once we find that perfect house we are looking for (which is taking for ever) and move in, ya'll know there will be a big pot luck at my new place and I will make my "chicken" cake then.

I am bringing a few doz Silver Cuckoo Marans hatching eggs for sale to the show also, and Blue,Black & Splsh Jersey Giants eggs...

I think CR needs a slingling to carry Pierre around in !!!!!!!!

This will get me in trouble with DH too, but how much for your Jersey Giant eggs?

I forget who mentioned Madrona, but I love it too!
We combed Titlow beach for the perfect roosting branch for the girls' coop and found a Madrona that eroded off the bank, best roost ever.

Robin, those old Oak Trees have got to be BEAUTIFUL! Hope you can find a place that will mill that branch.

I love the redneck chicken coop! Way to up-cycle!

So, it was gorgeous out there on Saturday, and because I want to cheer myself up (it is a year today my brother died), here are some pics and a video of the kids and chickens, enjoying the weather

I am bringing 3 starts from my Lemon Balm on Saturday. It's just started coming up so the starts don't look like much, but they have a lot of roots and should grow well.

OK Chickielady This is where ya should be singin the praises of how much ya loves Da Fat Kid. Oh and make sure ya save a seat in the van for "pigglett".

Speaking of I do have one smaller pink piggy planter left. flaming chicken has asked to buy the big one. So this is last call for the little one. Tomorrow I will be loading the car and then it will be too late.
