Can't forget the summer in Iowa we learned about C-H-I-G-G-E-R-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those were the ICHIEST bug bites I had ever experienced! I wanted to saw my ankle off! The kids spent the whole summer inside until we had some stupid ChemLawn people SPRAY our yard....I'm sure if they had Pinterest back then, I could have found 100 million ways to get rid of them naturally....

Hi Guys! Holly I am behind... Been a busy few days. My two youngest have a really bad cold. UGH I was able to get out and work in the garden yesterday it was COLD but beautiful. Excited to get my garden going. On another note the bater is going great. Its had a steady temp and a steady humidity. We are gonna candle them on Saturday so we will see then.
As for yall with family issues my heart goes out to you. I live it every day. I never meet my father he walked out on me when I was 6 weeks old... He lives in Eastern Washington SOMEWHERE I have tried to find him but with no luck.... I have not spoken to my mother in over 4 years. She made some very poor choices and put her wants over the safety of my children and then fallowed it up by blaming me for trying to protect them and telling me I was a mistake among other things. Then there is my grandma who was my world has dementia so bad she can no longer have a conversation without including the little men who live on the ceiling. No matter what way you look at it you love your family even if they dont deserve it and it hurts when that relationship is broken.

I was there April '02 - October '03 for Arabic. I was in MEII, with the worst Arabic teachers in the whole of DLI. Trust me. My class was from early June '02 through Sep '03, and I was stuck there for a couple months before/after because there weren't any classes open at Goodfellow. Oh.Darn. Stuck in Monterrey.

And it was 90 miles from my parents' house too, so I visited most weekends.

Another Arabic linguist! Do you remember any of it? I've forgotten nearly everything.
I got there in October of '02, but my class didn't start for months. Worse places to be waiting around than Monterey, for sure. I keep telling my husband we need to visit there at some point.

Marans are a French breed, so I would only acknowledge them. The English are deviants in every way. Avoid them at all costs.

[The US and French Standard call for Feathers - I don't think there are that many imports of clean legged birds from Britain, - wouldn't makes sense because the cost would be prohibitive since you can't show them. So, sounds like it is not a true Marans unless it has feathers]

When they first started with Marans in the US they breed toward clean legs, than they changed and went back to the French s t standards. So there are some clean legs out there still, but the are not show quality
