And let there be hail in Kent....ahhhh, this wll be an exciting drive home![]()
I am curious about the happenings of a coop tour. I'm a wee bit anti-social and awkward in groups of any size if they don't get my inside jokes![]()
Do they get awkward at any point? Are people just randomly walking through your yard that day? Is there like, a tour bus??

All of the coops we visited had been cleaned up nicely, but of course they weren't perfect. We all know that chickens poop. Some had obviously made greater efforts than others. So I wouldn't say it has to be immaculate and perfect - but presentable and safe for visitors.
MEOh hey there's a Washington thread on here. Battle Ground checking in, any other SW Wash folk on here?
I googled Garden Sphere coop tour 2013 and this is some of what I found When: Saturday, July 13, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.No tour bus. You don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to. Gardensphere gives you a map. You can tour any or all of the coops. They are located in different parts of Tacoma. The owners of the coops are usually sitting in their backyards near their coops ready to answer any questions. Some of the nicer ones even have cookies out for visitors.![]()
Some folks we asked questions, others we did not. Usually there were conversations of some kind going on. You know how chicken folks get when they're together. Just look at us!
I will send you a PM @ the PC's soon as I canLove the Airedales too, almost got one, how is yours with the birds? I show my dog too (sometimes, it's a lot more involved than chicken shows!) so he is hand stripped rather than clipped, which is one of big reasons I went Irish over Airedale because that's a lot of coat to strip.
EDIT: Chickielady - I notice your signature says you have Partridge Chanteclers, don't suppose you sell chicks or adults do you? They are one of the breeds I want to work with most but I'm having a heck of a time finding them. You can respond here or PM either way.
To make your signiature do you literally put in your username? Thanks SadieSue!
