ANYBODY GOING TO THE CHICKEN SHOW DOWN SOUTH???
well, not bad . . . I sang through it twice . . . what fun!I have been listening to my Blue Roo crooning since early this AM and I have figured out (after much thinking) on what his song is really saying.
You can sing along if you wish (tune of "Tammy")
I hear my Roo ster crow ing a loud,
Open up! Open up! I wa nt out!
The grass is green, and the worms are up!
Open up! Open up! Let me out!
Don't you know, the suns been up?
I sing so joyfully, but you fail to hear!
I wish you knew, what I'm drea ming of,
fa at worms, fa at worms,
Fa at worms, yumm
(yeah, too much time on my hands)
Thanks for the pictures!!! Love your design! You're going to bury that wire that's in the inside, right? Since they will scratch & kick rocks, sand, and dirt off of it, they might get small cuts in the pad of the feet, which could lead to bumble foot. And trust me, you don't want to deal with that.
You and "Miley" do good work! The chicks are going to love it!
p.s. Dash's brother is going to a new home tomorrow morning. Down to just my girls now. Whew!

Mine have tails down on roosts, I think it helps hold heat in.When birds are roosting, is it normal for their tails to be up or down? I just went in the run and Laya is sitting on the roost with her tail down. Should I worry? She got down for treats.
