Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

The word heathen originally meant a person who does not follow an Abrahamic religion; a pagan. I'm a heathen, but I'm not disheveled.
Didn't pagan mean country person?

It's best to believe in yourself, how else would anyone find your worth and believe in you as well?

I see a very real potential for this to turn U G L Y ! ! ! I think I will be off for the day. Spare the WA thread.

I see no reason for ugliness. If everyone is polite, and there are no "ad hominem" attacks, we can all exchange ideas and possibly learn from each other. There is nothing ugly about that.

My darling, loud Heidi, that my husband cannot abide is going to live with Hallerlake today. I'm sad, she is so photogenic!

But I know she's going to a good home!

Heathen can also mean "an uncultured or uncivilized person, philistine", Edited to change as well as country person. I just looked up pagan, and couldn't find any reference to country person; it's mainly a polytheistic person.

Yup, belief in oneself is good, but not to the exclusion of anything else. I think we all need to be open to new ideas in order to grow.
