Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I really hope so, they sound great, especially the Hardy part.  I'm not familiar with Berrytangle, I'll try to find them.  Do you know what town or area they're in?  I found three people locally but only heard back from one and she only has eggs available.  But, I'm set for now and looking forward to her.  I hope she gets along well with the Am. and the GSL, they're nice girls so far.

ETA:
Okay, I found them.  They're in Poulsbo but they don't list Swedish Flower Hen as something they have.  The do Olansk and Icelandic and Orps.  Rats.

That's to bad.

Hang on to your hats, this is a lot of multi-quoting!
Does anybody have swedish flower hens?
Look over at the Buy-Sell-Trade section. I know there are good people who have them on BYC, although not locally (yet). I have some shipped eggs in the incubator, but I don't have high hopes.
My newest frizzle.
Aren't frizzles cute? And friendly! I fulfilled my chick lust by stopping by TSC and picking up some random babies that turned out to be some kind of frizzle.
In other news, the baby goats are doing well, and the meaties are growing. Should do a first butcher in a couple of weeks. Oh, and my Champagne D'Argent bunny had babies, 4 days later than expected. Hubby went to put her back with the buck and there was the lovely nest choc full of newborns. :weee
Oh, she waited til I left! But I have about 15 more eggs to bring over tomorrow (Saturday) for the big bator. I'll be PMing you. :frow
Thought I would post this link for you guys too. A BYC interactive member map! If you are interested we would love to see your dot added. A member named Ken started this map and it has been in use for a while in the Tx thread. The link is in my signature line.
I'll check it out, thanks. :thumbsup
Good lick Matt! I have Polish eggs peeping as we speak that were shipped eggs. I lost a couple but most of them looked great going into lock down Yeah a bit crazy but the waters are smooth. We do have some great people around here. Sorry about hen. I think you're really going to like that Swedish hen I've heard a lot of nice things about them. Berrytangle farm out near you has them I think. They have some cool birds and wow are they nice people.
Hehe, good lick...hehe, sorry B&B hit me hard on that one!
Vacation sounds nice. I own and run my own business but just moved to a larger location and due to cost of the new overhead I'm working 6 days a week 10+ hours a day. But I still get to enjoy the outdoors when it's barn chore time! They came from eBay, one batch for James Davis in TN and another dozen from a Matt something in PA. I have a huge weakness for Langshans and right now can't afford to have adults shipped so risked some cheap eggs. The adults looked good which is the important thing. Edit: very nervous about the whole thing. In 20 years I've never tried shipped eggs so I guess we'll see how it goes!
Good luck on your eggs, sometimes they actually DO hatch...!
There will be a few of us that pop in from time to time. If you need one of us you can PM us. Some have been banned from the thread until further notice.
I'm bummed about the FB thing as I don't use it. Tried, failed. Darn it. BTW, does anyone here listen to KAOS, the Evergreen State College radio station? They are the BEST, hands down. Right now they have on some great jazz and blues from the 30s -40s or so. Never a dull moment. I have a brief and vivid memory of laying down in the back seat of my mother's car, driving up the roadway to the college, looking up out the window at all of the immense trees. She was thinking of taking a job there. I wish she had. This was when the college was just opening! It was so far out of my normal surroundings - all that natural beauty and woods...
Heh! I was one of the first voices on KAOS (and went to the organizational potluck, for that matter) and my husband was on the air there off and on for three decades. My favorite show was "Music by Composers I can Pronounce" which was the late great Carl Cook's Sunday morning show. My involvement with TESC goes back to before it was opened, when I was President of The Evergreen State College for 4H county government day, and got to shadow Charlie McCann for the day, which was seriously cool.

Howdy friends!
Well, April 15th came and went but I still have a few extensions to wrap up.
Consequently, as lovely as today was, I was stuck behind my computer!
I can't wait to get out in the garden.

Zgoatlady - congratulations on the birth of your grandchild!

Paul - do you have a date yet for the processing get together at your place?

Hi there WA Friends.
I know that this thread has seen some turmoil recently and I was sorry to hear about it. I've had a bit of turmoil here in Michigan myself. So if you'd like some reading material...

Raz I'm sorry for the trouble you are going through! I was born and raised near Detroit myself so my home will always be there. I am seeing red right now because of the injustice going on with your case. You have a lot of support here and I also agree that you should start a fund raiser if you haven't yet. I wish I had better advice or ideas for you. I have such pride that someone with such a strong will comes from home! All too often people buckle under the thumb of the government.

I really don't want to see you lose everything you have because it sounds like they're just going to keep coming at you until you have a ruling in your favor. So reach out for help if you need it.

My daughter got a baby Australian Spotted duck for her thirteenth birthday! This little one hatched just before midnight and the rest of this clutch should follow close behind.

Wow, just wow. Have you considered starting a petition on change.org? As well as starting a fundraiser to help pay your fines/fight back. This is outrageous!
