Like Monte just "did" Bantam Javas, and this year, he "did" Buff Leghorns...WOW
Chuck on the other hand is DEEP into Game Fowl.

Well, have to say that roast was fabulous. I put some in the chili tonight, and the rest is frozen for another time. It was huge, and fabulous! I got some live ducks I could butcher, I owe you some.

I will take but 1 whole duck for stuffing this Holiday...other than that, it was for your Birthday !

Monte, if anything, is widely known for his heritage Black javas....LOL
He is also deep into alot of other Heritage breeds.
Including Nankins.
He also raised La Fletch Noir for many years, all told, you need to pick his brain for exact details.
But if I am looking for up to date details, I bug Monte...he is my friend.

We fail to mention he is SPPA's Secretary.

Failed door design on my part. Door opens like a ramp.
They get too anxious to get out in the morning and slip their foot right into the door jam.
Wham.
Being that I open the door from 50 feet away, I can't tell if they are stuck.
For a while I thought 1 got eaten by a hawk cause I did not see her running out to the grass area.
The next day, another did the same thing.
Monkey see monkey do.

I could hatch babies now cause they are still laying, but then I have to deal with winter babies.
And I haven't given up on Moe & Joe just yet.

On the splint, I dare not pull her leg straight to splint, should I? What if it rips

Trying to get someone to pick them up. I am gone to a sheepdog trial this weekend. Anyone on this list, can make a run to pick these up and bring to the show at Chehalis/ I have transport from there. I can pay gas or give you a future chick such as Swedish or Rhodebar or ? or eggs?
