Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

My chicks will be six weeks on Wed. When can they start hanging around outside and I won't have to worry about them being cold?
ours were in the kitchen with a Brinsea heater. At 3 weeks I unplugged the heater, at 4 weeks I moved them to the unheated garage, at 5 weeks they went out to a grow out pen which just a tunnel with a tarp on top and perches to get them a few inches off the ground. Doing fine.

We had them in the brooder with the heat lamp. I told my husband we need to take the lamp away or put it up a lot higher. It stayed almost 80 in there... If the temp was lowered each week it would of been like 65 now. But they seemed to love it! They were always under the lamp.
We moved the chicks to the coop last night with the lamp. What I don't want to do is shock them!

Does anyone know if there is someone near Yakima that has black or blue Copper Marans for sale or hatching eggs?

No way, Catdance Silkie eggs? I am so jealous!! I have hatched her Silkie eggs twice or three times over the last four years and they are the best silkies i have ever seen anywhere. I am dying to get a splash hen of hers! I had one (my profile picture) but lost her to predator. I'm hoping to get eggs from Karen later this year. I sure wish you the best with your hatch!!

I am getting some BBS since they are my favorites, especially the splash. I am hoping for a good hatch
