Oh my gosh. I'm such a chicken crazy woman I'm going to go take some pics of them right now. It's dark so give me a few and be kind to my poor 10 year old digital camera.

hahah I was closing the free range area door and refilling the chicken waterer and violet kep stretching from the bottom perch to peek at me thru the vent windows I was kicking myself for not having my phone camera on me lol

Oh please show us pics!
Why are they always so freaking cute when there's no camera! There's no cell phone service where I live so I have to litterally run in the house and grab the old digital and put batteries in it and run back out. By then they're all just standing there looking at me like I'm an alien.
LOL I know right, it's gotten so I just try to grab my camera when I go out there so I can get those shots of course they do all the cute stuff when I forget LOL
Ok. Here's Patches. They were all cuddled up under my lavender orp rooster and I didn't have the heart to pry them away. Mostly because my rooster pouts and whines like a baby. He makes cooing sounds like a pigeon if I take the girlfriends away.
But, I got patches my 8 month old hen who should be laying soon. She's just been woken up and her feathers are pretty flat and laid down. During the day she's pretty poofy and looks much larger. And yes, she's on top of the clothes dryer

now, now,,,the dryer is no way to get fluffy chickens!
