awesome thanks bunchsI hadnt gotten that far I was curious to hear about ppls experiences going thru the process and everything...I need to do much more research on it .. I am for it in some ways and other ways ..last thing I want is the government butting their business into mine more...kinda a catch22... I dont want to jump thru governmental hoops..
that looks like it is just for the AI testing as aposed to npip?
haha glad to know wasnt only one with such thoughts... but thats my thinking I just want to learn more and get understanding thru ppls experiences... and what information on it.. I can see the good points n bad points...now just to think how involved or uninvolved I might want to be or where I may or may go further with this..have lots of questions regarding it such as can they just drop by anytime to test out of the blue do I turn over any of my rights by agreeing to become part of the program ect ect ect ect it's governmental there is always fine print involved and a million hoops.......I had the same thoughts about the government BUT as I ship eggs and birds all over the country on a weekly basis I needed to get certified to do so legally. If I didn't ship I likely wouldn't have bothered with it.

National Poultry Improvement Plan
My understanding is that it is a national program designed to monitor and eliminate disease in poultry.
"The National Poultry Improvement Plan was established in the early 1930's to provide a cooperative industry, state, and federal program through which new diagnostic technology can be effectively applied to the improvement of poultry and poultry products throughout the country."
