Too lazy to type. Need to take my vitamins or eat some spinach I guess.

I am one of the lucky ones and never lived in a bad area, although my house wa broken into once.

Watching my 3 littles growing up. 2 RIRs from Bud Alston, and an EE that can fly like an eagle. One of the RIRs looks like a rumpless auracana..... Almost NO tail. Weird!

Chickielady...Oh, yes. I know that album and that song. Duh! Love Alison Krauss, too. Have you heard the "Down From the Mountain" album. It has songs inspired by "O, Brother, Where Art Thou." It's a good album, too. It has the same artists that performed on the "Down From the Mountain" album. but I believe they do different songs.

My little chickie babies are about 6 weeks old now. They're all feathered out now and my little EE looks so cute. Her little cheeks have tiny feathers sticking out all over. I haven't been able to post pictures of them before now due to computer problems, so here they are.

Oh my you all must live in really TERRIBLE areas... And I thought that our neighbor was bad

Someone pulls out a gun around here, and our giant nasty wanna-kill-you dog will run & hide lickity split.
My last dog, a black lab, was not afraid of guns at all & was a great retriever, but was terrified of the vacuum cleaner.
If anyone ever wanted to rob us (or worse) they could do it a dustbuster point.

Same here our lab gets excited when she sees a gun but runs with her tail between her legs when she sees the vacuum.

Rumpless "no tail" may be a little cockerel.
Males fledge slower than females...hope you get what you wanted !

Love the names, and love Allison Krauss, what talent in that young lady !
carolyn, I think, mentioned her cousin (or uncle) taught mandolin & other instruments.....wish I was closer/younger/richer I'd go learn.
As it is now, I do not think my fingers could take the work.

Huh ! Must just be a 'Lab' thing to be terrified of vacuum cleaners ?
We take our lab pups to every gun/fireworks event we can at an early age so they learn....my dogs would sleep through a forth of July event in Gas Works Park, on a picnic blanket.
Have to wake them up when we went home.
But not that vacuum cleaner !
Even the dustbuster scared her !!!!!!!!!!

Years ago that kinda thing happened alot...sometimes whole pages of this thread would dispear !
Sometimes any individual would type in the message & hit submit & nothing would happen.
It would be impossible to even contact a mod or admin to let them know something was wrong...have to copy down Rob Ludlow's e-mail & contact him that way.
