That is how I started out with eight and then ended up with 20!

How are your birds doing now ?
Has anyone told you what to expect of the survivors ?
Will they continue to shed the virus on any new birds you get ?
Will a vaccination prevent the new birds from contracting the virus ?
Will you have to give up ever getting anymore birds or have to build a coop far away from the old "contaminated" area ?
Just wondering how you are doing, what is in your future ?

Nope, it is an issue of dislexia, and my feed labels are all posted to the wall in the barn, over my desk.
AND this computer is upstairs in the house.
Far from my labels over there.
So
I checked this morning & the medicated chick starter I use is 18%, not 17%, and the crumbles I use for growing on birds is 18% (unmedicated) but I then supplement with Avian Super Pak vitamins & corrid in their water every other week to prevent cocci attacks after they are off medicated chick feed.

No way am I perfect with MATH & NUMBERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CANNOT BALANCE A CHECKBOOK, AND CANNOT REASONABLY ADD & SUBTRACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I most often ADD when I write a check instead of subtracting & have a seriously difficult time even remembering phone numbers, prices, anything having anything to do with numbers.
I could not tell time until I was 30-40 yo and still have to count 5,10,15,20 when looking at a clock to tell what time it is.

I have come to accept myself as the number-challenged individual that I am, and I am an ARTIST, not a mathmetician !
Einstein will tell you !!

I guess the artist side of my brain is very highly developed, but the number side (right side ?) is NOT developed, and THAT is why I often tip over to the left.

I love my guineas too. I love weird and wonderful birds...and I tend to be attracted to animals at extremes of each other. The guineas are pretty extreme!! lol

So I've been curious, it's a mix of a general question and area specific one.

Do chickens typically get regular check ups? Is taking fecal samples to a vet a normal thing? And specifically, if I was looking for someone in my area to do something related, how would I know where to go?
