I've had to start watering too. My roses can't take being dry at all, as well the tomatoes. I am just starting to get my first flush of blooms, unfortunately too soon for the big show in June! The 1st ones are always the best and biggest. Sure smell num tho!

We have been so super busy since the sun came out !
The New Copp is almost done, Ok 3/4 done....It has a tower on 1 side & is so super cool...lots of character, pictures tomorrow.

The last batch of Bantam Silver barnevelders babies were doing excellent & then apparently did not have any idea how to eat...so I have been syringe feeding them a mix of cooked rice cereal, thinned with water w/antibiotics, vitamins & a dab of apple juice.

They are fed 3+ times a day and so far seem to be perking up...they are so super tiny, I wonder if the regular chick feed was just too big for them ?
Hard to imagine, huh ?

You ought to see me putting a irrigation syringe down into their crops & feeding them...little tiny things...I am surprised I haven't killed them yet !
OK guys...I'll try to get back tomorrow for more pictures !

I'm busy trying to keep my 5 remaining chicks alive. It would be a lot easier if I knew what killed the first 3, especially the one yesterday. I'm none too happy right now.

Last year I planted too many tomato plants too close together.. This year I'm finding out just how many ripened tomatos weren't found...

That just makes no sense, besides a hidden illness I would think. Hopefully your others stay strong and make it.

So we had a rude change of events that just killed all that we had set up for and prepared our plans. We now have been looking for new property to relocate to- originally our plans were ok by codes,zones etc. but apparently as of May it all went down the toilet with no notice, or anything that no one can sell anything except handmade items from personal property- it's honestly a bunch of crap and if would of at least sent out notices to residence of the changes prior, and at least done a extra fee to be allowed to conduct agriculture business we would of paid it- so now we're looking for property else where that we can do what we would like to do-

But I guess in some ways we actually found bigger property that we can do more on and have a even better setup and location - that's politics I guess cut out the little man

Is anyone in western Washington interested in co-purchasing a group of White Sport Legbars? A member here has white sport legbars that may be available in 5 weeks or so. I only need 1 pullet which would be impossible to ship, but if I could get someone to go in together on several.......?
