It's ok, thank you! Just need these little eggs to hatch! So far I've only had to discard 1 Silkie egg and 1 LF egg. I have 8 little Silkie eggs that look to be developing just fine... Which includes the staggered 3 I put in after the bear attack. They are just starting to get veins.

Where did you get your silkie eggs? Would love to add a couple to my flock.

Rod t, did the snow stick around. Who ever posted the bowl of colorful eggs... I am jealous. All of my hens lay different shades of brown.

I know that I have the ingredients for OE, some folks on here have legbars, and we have plenty of cross breeding to make EE all over this thread. I'm sure that by spring your flock could grow substantially! En-egg-blers unite!

I'm glad that the pack is growing in the mountains! A few weeks ago I got a view of Ranier with the top all white.

I love the broody method personally. I'm working against an incubator... they make me nervous.
