What do people do for grow out space? My little wooden side coop is making a moist little nightmare of a space for the growing out chicks. I'm scared of respiratory infection and frost bite if I put them in there.

I know one member has a chicken wire set up inside her "grown up" pen. Then there is also a little cut out door that lets the littles out into the coop if they want but they can run back in if the Bigs try to get them.

I do!! SOrry I didnt post pictures on my roo... It is too cold to go outside. he is a purty little thing though. Full of tail and nice and heavy.. the only problem is that he has yellowing on his feathers.

Yikes - I would have freaked! I'm glad everyone is okay and I hope you find a way to deter the owl from any more visits with your birds.....
