Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I have heard that dogs will steel eggs and eat them. As far as I know my dog hasn't done this. She has been given raw eggs mixed with her dog food occasionally for years but I've never just handed her an egg.

I am so ready to get some eggs! My three hens who laid faithfully almost every day for a year, quit in mid-November, molted, and haven't laid a single egg since. My three youngsters still haven't started at 6+ months. I want eggs! I am happy that one of my beach ball size English Orpington pullets squatted for me today -- so hopefully eggs will soon be on the way.

k I am confused, I have 5 barred rocks, 2 Rhode Island reds and 6 light Brahmas someone is giving big white eggs every other day. the Brahmas are all to young no dominant cones yet.

It's mysterious. All three of those breeds should lay brown eggs. Hmm. Maybe one is a cross? Do any of them have white ear lobes? That is typically a sign of white egg laying.
