We seem to live between some hills or something that we don't tend to get it as bad, I myself am kinda thankful it turned out that way

My cockerel got caught by a gust and flipped a few times, right after trying to grab a hen.
My concern with the pellets... would the chickens try to eat them, which would be really bad if they absorbed all the moisture in their systems. I think my birds might just eat some to find out if they're tasty. Your experience?I would cover at least part of the run also, but the wood pellets make it a little less messy.

Never really started here mild winds but not severe, thankfully my birds love their coop in any inclement weather they stay inside.Still blowing here.
