Have you tried a mister system ?Gotta love 104 degrees. All I have been doing for the last couple of days is create breezes, change ice containers for the chickens, and spray pigs and cows. Oh and melt anytime I have to get into the car. Today I had to go to work so I had to trust my daughter to follow my 'detailed' instructions on how to keep the animals cool.
really doesn't use "TOO" much water...my FiL in NorCal who had the pheasant Farm used 4 or 5 strung together & turned them on when the temp was 100+ in late afternoon when the breeze stops
and you simply just COOK IN THE SUN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>even the rattlesnakes go hide under his house.

But the misters seemed to work great, damp ground made for the birds to wallow in their cool damp "moonscape" holes....
He used alot of shade screen also...with the misters strung underneath.
