So that is what I have get to look for appears my old hens about 16 months old that is my
original 5 barred rock have not had their first molt. just took a few weeks off over the pullets that
started laying.. I am now getting 4 blue eggs a day in two different sizes and
three green from Gena 1 from same as BlueBoy aka stew...

That pic is just a very, very bad molt. Most of my girls just loose a bit at a time so they are never bald. Well except for their heads. They tend to loose all those and get them back fast.

hmm hard to tell from what I can remember there should be more feathers
and most look like pullets molting for the first time is all their was

I wouldn't worry to much about it. You can hardly tell my brahmas are molting, other than their tails fell off and they lost their leg feathers. Actually, this year it seems most of the girls have just lost their tails and sporadic body feathers. You can tell when they get the darker new feathers in on the non-white birds. They are taking a slow molt. Which makes me irritated since no eggs from them. At least that rock went through it really quick and started back up laying
