You would be better off getting her out of broodiness...hens can die being broody for too long ....you probably know that...but just sayin'...after 2 1/2 weeks, her body cannot take another 21 days without harm.
She's in decent condition. I'm more worried about her quitting before the eggs are ready.

Silkies are aliens, not chickens, I swear. They were crazy today. I walked in the pen and half the hens were doing that jump into the air squawking and flapping thing where they spin in a random direction and land running. The broodies were out and they started it. The rest of them ran up begging for treats. They saw which scoop I had in my hand. All the chickens can tell the scratch scoop (smaller different shape) from the feed scoop.

I know that one I also every once in awhile buy frozen cauliflower or broccoli
they know the bags when I bring them in frozen watermelon get the them running it is in a bowl
no spinning in the air thank heaven this that might scare me
